Course Overview

The Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology Management is directed at those employed within the information technology environment as well as those aspiring to enter the information technology management field. Graduates will be imbued with the skills of aligning business strategies and technology to effectively perform their duties. Through the coursework, the programme aims to build skills in information technology to generate value to an organisation through the use of technology. 

Eligibility

  • The minimum entry requirement is a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma at NQF level 7.
All students must complete four core modules in the first semester. In semester two, students must complete three core modules and choose one elective. 

Semester I:

  1. Information and Knowledge Management
  2. Research for Computing Methods
  3. Information Technology Law
  4. Information Security 

Semester II:

  1. Strategic Management
  2. e-Business
  3. Artificial Intelligence 

Elective - Choose One Of The Following Electives:

  1. Strategic Supply Chain Management
  2. Advanced Project Management
