Beginner Level English Syllabus (12 Weeks)
Welcome to Beginner Level English101!
This 12-week course is designed to help you build a strong foundation in English. Together, we will practice reading, writing, listening, and speaking through interactive lessons and activities.
Class Expectations:
- Please be on time for each class session.
- Review and practice material from the previous lesson before the due date.
- Be respectful of the learning environment and your classmates.
- Actively participate and engage in the community of learners.
- Week 1: Alphabet, basic greetings, introductions
- Week 2: Numbers, colors, classroom vocabulary
- Week 3: Family, simple present tense (to be), Test 1
- Week 4: Food, daily routines, present simple
- Week 5: Weather, time, basic prepositions
- Week 6: Hobbies, like/dislike, Test 2
- Week 7: Shopping, clothing, countable/uncountable nouns
- Week 8: Places in town, directions, there is/are
- Week 9: Transportation, past tense (to be), Test 3
- Week 10: Holidays, future with 'going to'
- Week 11: Health, giving advice (should)
- Week 12: Review & Final Test
