Course Overview
The Professional Diploma in Environmental Management (PDEM) is an advanced professional programme designed to develop strategic expertise in environmental sustainability, climate change policy, environmental impact assessment, corporate environmental responsibility, and regulatory compliance systems.
The programme prepares professionals to address environmental challenges strategically across public, private, and non-governmental sectors. Emphasis is placed on sustainable development, environmental governance, climate adaptation and mitigation strategies, risk assessment, and renewable energy integration.
Participants gain the competence to design and implement environmental management systems that promote ecological protection, regulatory compliance, and long-term environmental resilience.

Academic Qualification

• Equivalent Level 6 qualification under recognized international frameworks
Professional Experience (Alternative Pathway)
Applicants without a Bachelor’s degree may be considered if they possess:
• Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in environmental management, sustainability coordination, regulatory compliance, environmental consultancy, or natural resource management
• Demonstrated supervisory or project leadership responsibilities
• Professional CV subject to academic review
International Qualification Equivalency
• International academic credentials will be assessed for equivalency
• Recognized professional environmental certifications are accepted
• Applicants from non-English speaking countries may be required to demonstrate English proficiency
English Language Requirement
